ā¢ Garfield Police Sergeant Told Officer To Lie In Probe: Prosecutor (dailyvoice.com) ā A Garfield police sergeant has been charged with witness tampering after county investigators say he told another Garfield officer to give false information during an internal affairs probe. He was arrested last week and released pending a court appearance in Bergen County Superior Court, while the prosecutor publicly thanked the Garfield Police Department for its cooperation.
