Ryan Hobler, a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi ANCC, will be offering a special charity concert featuring his unique blend of indie folk, singer-songwriter, and Americana music. Known for his thoughtful lyrics, intimate storytelling, and atmospheric sound, Ryan’s music has been compared to artists such as Paul Simon, Sufjan Stevens, and Jeff Buckley. His songs explore themes of love, resilience, hope, and the human experience through beautifully crafted melodies and arrangements.
Ryan’s debut album, The Elusive Yes, received critical acclaim, with Songwriting Magazine praising him as a “songwriter of unparalleled skill.” His music has also been featured in films, television series, and commercials, including Chicago Fire. Most recently, he released The Paper Airplane Life EP with Erik Blicker, drawing comparisons to Simon & Garfunkel and Bon Iver.
