1. 7 Ridgewood, Glen Rock Teens Named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists: See Who (patch.com) — Glen Rock families can celebrate that Glen Rock High School student Selina Feng has been named a National Merit Scholarship semifinalist, alongside several Ridgewood students. The recognition is based on junior-year PSAT scores and could lead to a four-year college scholarship. More Bergen County semifinalists are listed, and parents can contact Patch if a student's name is missing.
   

2. Communities Honor the 25th Anniversary of 9/11 (tapinto.net) — Glen Rock residents are invited to a 9/11 remembrance ceremony on Friday, Sept. 11, at 6:30 p.m. at the G.R.A.C.E. memorial in Veterans Park on Main Street. The observance honors the 11 Glen Rock residents and three Fair Lawn neighbors lost in the attacks, marking the 25th anniversary with a joint show of community remembrance and reflection.
