1 Killed, 4 Injured After Car Runs Off Highway In South Jersey: Police
The incident killed a 36-year-old, while the driver sustained 'serious' injuries, according to State Police.
WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, NJ — A crash off the Atlantic City Expressway left one person dead and four injured on Tuesday afternoon, according to State Police. Several occupants were trapped in the vehicle that ran off the road.
The vehicle was traveling west on the ACE in Winslow Township when it ran off the road, impacted multiple trees and overturned, said State Police Sgt. Philip Curry. The crash killed Percell Gray, 36, of Philadelphia.
The driver sustained "serious" injuries, while three additional passengers were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. State Police withheld their identities, but Curry told Patch that identification of the driver is pending.

State Police didn't specify the nature of the driver's injuries or their current condition.
Three of the injured individuals were trapped in the vehicle and required extrication, according to Camden County IAFF Local 3249. Medical helicopters flew two of them to a trauma center.
