$10K Mega Millions Lottery Ticket Sold At Camden County Wawa

A Mega Millions ticket worth $10,000 was sold at a Wawa in Camden County. Did you buy it?

CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — One shopper at a Camden County Wawa is $10,000 richer following Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing.

A ticket that matched the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn was purchased at the Wawa at 2 North White Horse Pike in Somerdale, the New Jersey Lottery announced on Wednesday. It is worth $10,000.

The winning numbers for the Tuesday, March 9, drawing were: 04, 33, 46, 58, and 65. The Gold Mega Ball was 13, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 02.

2021 has been a lucky year for Camden County lottery players. There have been three $1 million winning tickets sold in the county since January, including one in Gibbsboro, one in Sicklerville, and one in Haddonfield.

In addition to the third-tier prize won in Tuesday’s drawing, 10 New Jersey players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500, according to Lottery officials. One of those tickets was purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $1,000. Moreover, 24,597 other New Jersey players took home $92,262 in prizes ranging from $2 to $400.

The next drawing will be held Friday at 11 p.m. All New Jersey Lottery Mega Millions tickets must be purchased before 10:45 p.m. to participate in the drawing.

Mega Millions tickets cost $2; by adding the Megaplier option for an extra dollar per play, players can increase their non-jackpot winnings up to five times. Mega Millions tickets are sold in 46 participating jurisdictions. Drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
