2 Arrested In Fatal Shooting Of Gloucester Township Man: Cops

Two people have been charged in the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Kevin Carter at his Sicklerville home, police said on Thursday.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Two people have been charged with the fatal shooting of a Gloucester Township man at his home in October, authorities announced Thursday evening.

Rosealee Gomez, 36, of Franklinville, and Chamberlin Robinson, 41, of Vineland, have each been charged in the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Kevin Carter at his home on Yorkshire Road in the Sicklerville section of the township, according to authorities.

The have been charged with one count of felony murder and burglary, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Gloucester Township Police Chief David Harkins. Robinson was charged with one count of murder.

The United States Marshall Service arrested Gonzalez at her home on Dec. 31, 2019, a little more than two months after the fatal shooting, according to authorities. She was remanded to the Camden County Jail pending a pretrial detention hearing.

Robinson is currently being held in the Cumberland County Jail on an unrelated matter, according to authorities. Authorities are still seeking additional information in this ongoing investigation.

Gloucester Township police responded to reports of shots fired on Yorkshire Road at about 9:50 p.m. on Oct. 23. Arriving officers found Carter on the ground suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
