2 Injured, 1 Critical After Car Crashes Off Highway In Gloucester Twp.: Officials
The car veered off the roadway and struck a tree, authorities said.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Two people were injured — one seriously — after a car veered off Route 42 and struck a tree Friday night in Gloucester Township, officials said.
The one-vehicle crash happened around 11:25 p.m. on Route 42 North at milepost 7. A Dodge passenger vehicle veered off the roadway to the right and hit a tree, said State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.
The driver — a 37-year-old Sicklerville man — suffered "serious" injuries, while his passenger was moderately injured, Lebron said.

Both men were brought to a local hospital, with one in critical condition, according to the Washington Township Ambulance and Rescue Association, which responded to the scene.
State Police could not confirm their conditions on Monday morning.
