2 Killed In Crash, Man Airlifted To South Jersey Hospital: Police
John A. Mahoney and Patrick J. Mahoney, both 23, were pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
VINELAND, NJ — Two men were killed and another was hospitalized after a crash Tuesday in Cumberland County, authorities said.
The two-vehicle collision killed John A. Mahoney and Patrick J. Mahoney — both 23-year-old Sewell residents — according to Vineland police. It's unclear whether or how they were related.
Officers reported to the crash scene just after 11 a.m. at Union Road and Mayslanding Road. The preliminary investigation revealed that a Ford F-250 pickup truck was traveling westbound on Mayslanding Road, toward the intersection. John Mahoney's Toyota crossed into the pickup truck's path when it failed to stop, leading to the collision, police said.

John Mahoney and his front-seat passenger, Patrick, were pronounced dead at the scene. The Ford driver was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital in Camden for precautionary measures and was listed in stable condition as of Tuesday afternoon.
