GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ — Police have charged four teenagers after an attempted carjacking at a Gloucester City Wawa last November.
A woman told police she was sitting in her vehicle on Nov. 18 at 10:15 a.m., at the Wawa located at 1317 Market Street. Two males dressed in black clothing approached her, showed a handgun, and told her to open the door, police said.
The males tried to open the car doors, but they were locked, said city police. The woman honked her horn and left the parking spot, and the suspects "fled toward Route 130 in a vehicle that was reported stolen in Camden City prior to the carjacking."
