9/11 Tributes Set For Gloucester Township
Events will take place at Timber Creek Regional High School and the Chews Landing Fire Department.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township will host its annual 9/11 Tribute Ceremony to remember and honor the anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the Pentagon and World Trade Center on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
The ceremony will take place at Timber Creek Regional High School, 501 Jarvis Road in the Sicklerville section of the township.
Participants will include, but are not limited to, Black Horse Pike Regional School District Superintendent Dr. Brian Repici, Timber Creek Principal Dr. Luis F. Amberths, Jr., Gloucester Township Mayor David Mayer, Gloucester Township Police Chief W. Harry Earle, local cadets from JROTC and student musicians from the school district.

Students and staff from the district’s history classes are also invited to attend, while all other students will be invited to watch the ceremony in their classrooms on Channel 14.
The Chews Landing Fire Department will also host a 9/11 Memorial Dedication on the same day, at 8:15 a.m.The fire department is located at 43 Somerdale Road in Chews Landing.
