ATCO, April 24, 2013 — Recreational Management Services (RMS) has announced today that it is currently looking to fill over 150 lifeguard positions in southern New Jersey. Locations where positions have become readily available include Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer and Ocean Counties.
RMS is always hiring lifeguards with or without previous experience. In addition to lifeguard positions, there are pool manager and safety auditor jobs available. Teens, college students, teachers and those in the medical emergency response field are encouraged to apply. For those interested, RMS is holding lifeguard training courses in Mount Holly, Toms River and Atlantic City, New Jersey. Questions regarding training can be directed to 1-877-371-7665.
As part of its promotion package, RMS offers end-of-season bonuses that range from $50–200, referral bonuses of $25 for lifeguards that get their friends hired for the season, and a Summer to Win contest, which allows lifeguards to win prizes all summer. Training is also offered at a discounted rate to current employees.

“Lifeguarding certifications are great assets and can enhance a college application or résumé!” says Kate Brown, Recruiting and Staffing Manager at RMS. Brown also adds, “Lifeguarding doesn't have to end with the summer season—students that travel for college may continue working at indoor facilities throughout the year.”
