Attempted Murder Charge For Man In Lindenwold Shooting: Camden Co. Prosecutor

U.S. Marshals arrested a man in Camden after the Nov. 30 shooting in Lindenwold that injured another man, officials said.

LINDENWOLD, NJ — Officials say a man has been charged with attempted murder and various weapons offenses after a shooting in Lindenwold that injured another man.

Members of the U.S Marshals Regional Task Force arrested Brendan Blake of Lindenwold on Monday, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Lindenwold Police Chief Michael P. McCarthy Jr. He is suspected of shooting a 37-year-old man whom police found injured in Berlin Borough the morning of Nov. 30.

Officials did not provide an update on the victim's condition.

Officials said Blake, 34, is in custody in the Camden County Justice Facility on the following charges: first-degree attempted murder; second-degree possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, certain person not to possess a firearm, and unlawful possession of a firearm; third-degree terroristic threats; and fourth-degree pointing a firearm.
