Blackwood Christmas Parade Set for Saturday

The 26th annual Blackwood Christmas Parade will march down the Black Horse Pike on Saturday night, Dec. 6, 6 p.m.-8 p.m.

The 26th annual Blackwood Christmas Parade will march down the Black Horse Pike on Saturday night, Dec. 6, 6 p.m.-8 p.m.

The parade will begin in Blackwood Plaza located at the intersection of Davistown Road and Black Horse Pike. It will proceed north to the intersection of the Black Horse Pike and Church Street.

Contests will be held to determine the best float in accordance to the theme and the spirit of the holidays.

The Black Horse Pike will be closed to all traffic between Davistown Road and Church Street.

The marked detour route for northbound traffic is College Drive to Peter Cheeseman Road to Erial Road to Blackwood-Clementon Road to the Black Horse Pike.

Southbound traffic is Church Street Erial Road to Peter Cheeseman Rd to College Drive to the Black Horse Pike.

Officers will be on location at both closures points. To avoid delays, drivers should seek an alternate route of travel.
