Man Who Led Police on Multi-State Chase Allegedly Stole Underwear: Report
Robert Ritter led police on a two-hour interstate chase Monday night.

A Blackwood man who led police on an interstate chase on Monday night was apparently in desperate need of underwear.
Robert Ritter, 54, allegedly stole $10.50 worth of underwear during an alleged armed robbery at a ShopRite in Brooklawn, 6 ABC reports.
Ritter was also had several warrants out for his arrest, including one out of Gloucester Township for violating a restraining order for stalking and domestic violence, according to the report.

Ritter was captured Monday night following a chase that began following when police attempted to stop him in Oaklyn.
Ritter allegedly led police on chase that went from Oaklyn into Philadelphia through the Navy Yard before the chase returned to Deptford, New Jersey. The chase returned to Philadelphia before the van flipped.

Ritter was hospitalized, but was released on Tuesday. He faces charges of aggravated assault and other charges.
