Amber Alert Ends, 4-Year-Old Girl in 'Extreme Danger' Found Safely in N.J.

An Amber Alert was issued for a missing 4-year-old girl who was found safe in New Jersey after being in "extreme danger," police said.

UPDATE: Dylan James Richardson and the girl's grandmother, Jaqueline McKenna, 51, of Glassboro, were arrested at 8:30 a.m. in Glassboro in connection with the abduction, police said.

ORIGINAL STORY: An Amber Alert that was issued for a missing 4-year-old girl was called off, police said. The girl was found safe in New Jersey.

The Monroe Township Police Department in Gloucester County took the suspected abductor, who is believed to be her father, and the girl into custody overnight, according to the state police.

The Virginia State Police and the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office activated a Virginia Amber Alert for Annabelle Doretha Hope Richardson on Monday night, saying she was last seen with 24-year-old Dylan James Ricardson at 400 Thomas Jefferson Highway in Charlotte, Virginia.

They could have been driving in a 1995 burgundy Chevy van with license plate VMG 2332, apparently headed to New Jersey, police said.

Annabelle Doretha Hope Richardson is a white female, 3 feet tall, 22 pounds, with green eyes and blond hair. She was believed to be in "extreme danger."

Dylan James Richardson is a white male, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 140 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.

A Dylan Richardson on Facebook, who says he is from Williamstown, New Jersey, apparently has posted about the child over the past two days:
