Camden Co. Man Stabbed PA State Trooper In Leg: Police
The officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries and has been released from the hospital, officials said.
TILDEN TOWNSHIP, PA — A Camden County man stabbed a Pennsylvania state trooper multiple times in the leg on Friday morning, officials said.
Officers were dispatched to a Tilden Township, Berks County, home to serve a warrant to Bradley Odenath, of Pine Hill, according to police. During the interaction, Odenath stabbed one of the troopers numerous times in the leg, authorities said.
The troopers were serving a 302 warrant, which empowers Pennsylvania authorities to commit individuals to emergency evaluations or mental-health treatment if they present a danger to themselves or others.

Following the altercation, Odenath was placed in custody and transported to the hospital for a 302 evaluation. He was charged with two counts each of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault, and harassment.
Odenath, 27, was taken to Berks County Central Processing Center for arraignment, with bail set at $100,000. He was unable to post bail and taken to Berks County Prison, officials said.

The trooper sustained non-life-threatening injuries from the stabbing, police said. An ambulance transported them to the hospital, and they have since been released.
