Camden County College Nursing Students Assisting With Free Flu Shots

Find out when free vaccine clinics and blood pressure screenings will take place.

Gloucester Township, NJ -- Nursing students at Camden County College are administering free flu vaccines in conjunction with the Camden County Health Department, the college announced Tuesday morning.

Vaccinations are free to community members over the age of six-months-old.

Two types of flu shots available:
  • Fluzone High-Dose for people 65 years of age and older; and
  • Quadrivalent Influenza Vaccine for anyone older than six months.

Nasal sprays are not given.

Free vaccine clinics and blood pressure screenings will be given on the following days and times, at the following locations:

  • Thursday, Oct. 27, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the atrium of the connector building at Camden County College’s Blackwood campus, 200 College Drive in the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township. Education on High Blood Pressure and Stroke will be provided by the Camden County College Nursing Students;
  • Monday, Nov. 7, 3:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the Voorhees Towne Center, 6001 Voorhees Town Center in Voorhees;
  • Thursday, Nov. 10, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the college hall community room at Camden County College’s Camden campus, 200 North Broadway in Camden. Education on high blood pressure and stroke will be provided by the Camden County College Nursing Students. A health fair will also be running on this date.
