“When I left on Friday, just the second day of the sale, I felt pretty confident we would break the record or come very close,” said Voorhees Branch Manager William Brahms, the chief organizer of the sale.
The previous record was 19,328 for a fall sale. The library holds a two-day sale in the spring, in addition the three-day event in the fall.

Both Brahms and Camden County Library Director Linda Devlin have high praise for the nearly 90 library staff members and volunteers who worked to make the effort a success.
All the money raised is used to support a variety of library activities including new collections, programs and services across the entire system.
