Services are available for students and their parents who are working on homework.

The Camden County Library System offers an array of services for students and parents to do homework from any Internet connection, the library announced ahead of the new school year.
Kid’s Zone is a special section on the library’s website that includes homework help in a variety of forms for younger students.
Go to the library’s home page at http://www.camdencountylibrary.org/ and click on ‘Using the Library’ at the top where you will find the Kids Zone menu that includes a link to the Homework Help page.

The Homework Help page also includes a link to the library’s Ask a Librarian service available by email, telephone or onsite at one of the library’s eight branches: Bellmawr, Gloucester Township, Ferry Avenue (Camden), Haddon Township, Merchantville, Cruz-Perez (Camden-Downtown), South County (Winslow Township) and Voorhees.
The Homework Page includes a variety of websites students can use on their own, including Searchasaurus, which enables students and their parents to search thousands of articles.
It has an online general encyclopedia and an animal encyclopedia that offers a lot of information about animals from around the world.
It offers an animated interface with a dinosaur theme that encourages young researchers to develop their basic search skills. The Homework Help page also offers Primary Search, a database geared to finding age-appropriate magazine articles for children.
Some of the sources on Kids Zone, including Searchasaurus, are labeled “Subscription Database” meaning they require a barcode number found on the back of any valid CCLS library card.
However, many of the online sources do not require a card and are accessible from any Internet connection at www.camdencountylibrary.org/homework-help.
