Celebrate The Fourth Of July At The Camden County Freedom Festival

The Freedom Festival is Tuesday night.

Don't call 911 to find out when the fireworks are. Just check here. The Camden County Department of Public Safety is reminding all Camden County residents that the 911 system is for emergency calls only. The county’s dispatchers are not able to inform residents of the locations and times of fireworks displays in their area.

This year’s Camden County Waterfront Freedom Festival and Fourth of July Fireworks Display is set for Tuesday night, July 4, 5 p.m.-10 p.m. It will include concerts and a veteran’s tribute, and will conclude with a spectacular, world-class fireworks display over the Delaware River.

“We expect more than 150,000 visitors to Wiggins Waterfront Park this summer for events ranging from great entertainment like the Fourth of July Fireworks to the Sunset Jazz Series,” Camden County Freeholder Jeffrey Nash, liaison to the Camden County Parks Department, said. “My colleagues on the Freeholder Board and I know how much residents enjoy the outdoors, and we strive to continually improve Camden County's parks so that they provide maximum entertainment and fun for the whole family.”

The Freedom Festival will feature a variety of other activities, including a Beer Garden for visitors of legal drinking age.

“We invite everyone to come out to the Camden Waterfront for a great music, food, fireworks and fun for the entire family,” Nash said. “We hope you can join us as the region’s largest fireworks show lights up the Delaware River.”

Wiggins Waterfront Park is located at Riverside Drive and Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard in Camden. All of the events are made possible through a joint partnership between the Camden County Freeholder Board, the City of Camden, and WMGK 102.9FM.
