Chesterbrook Academy(R) in Sewell Raises Funds to Donate to Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk
School hosted a bake sale and raised more than $500 for breast cancer research

Sewell, N.J. (Aug. 11, 2014) – On July 16, teachers from Chesterbrook Academy in Sewell hosted a bake sale and raised more than $500 to donate to a fellow teacher’s team who is participating in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk in September. Teachers sold a variety of baked goods, such as brownies, cookies and cupcakes to parents, while students showed support by wearing pink ribbons and bracelets. After the bake sale, teachers, staff and students surprised the teacher with an oversized check for the donation.
