Clementon Teen Charged In Fatal Shooting Still At Large

A Clementon teen has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a teenager in Camden earlier this month, and police are asking for the public’s help tracking him down.

Damann Alford, 17, is charged with first-degree felony murder in the death of a 17-year-old boy was found lying in the street in the area of South 29th and Clinton streets after he had apparently been shot at about 1:20 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 8, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office announced. The teen was taken by EMS to Cooper University Hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries at about 1:51 p.m.

Alford is described as a 17-year old African American male with brown eyes and black hair, standing at approximately 5’10” and weighing around 160 pounds. His images are attached to this post.

Members of the public should not approach this individual; he should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see Damann Alford, call 911 immediately. Anyone who has any information pertaining to his whereabouts is asked to contact the police.
