One Person in Critical Condition Following Accident With Pole on College Drive
The person was extricated by fire and EMS, and flown to Cooper Hospital Trauma Center.

One person was in critical condition after the car crashed into a pole early Saturday morning, according to Gloucester Township Police.
College Drive fully reopened Saturday evening after being closed temporarily and then reduced to one lane while a pole was replaced as a result of the accident.
Police responded to a report of a car that crashed into the pole around 3:57 a.m. The car was wrapped around a pole, and the lone occupant was trapped.

Fire Department and EMS were able to extricate the driver from the car. The driver was then flown to Cooper Hospital Trauma Center and was reportedly in critical condition.
The identity of the driver is not being released at this time, pending family notifications.

Earlier in the day, College Drive was closed between Erial Road and Winding Way, as a result of the accident. It was then reduced to one lane in each direction until early Saturday evening.
The crash is being investigated by the Gloucester Township Police Serious Crash Investigations Team.
