Confessed Cocaine Dealer From South NJ Sentenced To Prison
Officials say the man violated the terms of his supervised release for a prior cocaine conviction.
BRIDGETON, NJ — Officials say a confessed drug dealer has been sentenced to prison in Cumberland County after violating the conditions of his supervised release.
Lavinston Lamar, 40, of Bridgeton pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Renée Marie Bumb in Camden federal court last May, according to the U.S. Attorney's office for the District of New Jersey.
Bumb sentenced him to 114 months in prison and six months of supervised release "for conspiring with others to obtain and distribute several kilograms of cocaine and violating the conditions of his supervised release from a prior conviction for conspiring to distribute cocaine," the AG's office said.
