Deadly Hit-And-Run Under Investigation In Camden Co.

The victim was a 26-year-old man.

PINE HILL, NJ — Police are trying to identify the driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run last weekend in Pine Hill.

Officers responded to the incident at about 1 a.m. Saturday on the 900 block of Turnersville Road. A 26-year-old man in the roadway was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police haven't disclosed the victim's name as of Thursday morning.

Officers determined that an unknown vehicle struck the man and fled the scene. Pine Hill police and the Camden County Prosecutor's Office are investigating.

Turnersville Road was closed for several hours between Estates Road and Mac Knight Drive during the on-scene investigation.

A separate hit-and-run, which killed a pedestrian Monday night in Washington Township, remains under investigation.
