WATCH: Driver Hits Cop Car At Gloucester Twp. Police Station, Gets DWI, Authorities Say

The vehicle swerved off the road and hit an unmarked car parked at the police station, authorities said. Here's footage of the incident.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — An intoxicated driver crashed into a Gloucester Township police car right in front of the law-enforcement agency's headquarters, authorities said.

A white Dodge Charger swerved off the road and into an unmarked vehicle at about 12:45 a.m. Monday in the police station's parking lot, officials said. Jimi Morales, 28, of Pennsauken, was charged with driving while intoxicated. He also had an outstanding warrant from Pennsylvania, according to authorities.

Officers determined that Morales was traveling eastbound on Chews Landing Road when he lost control and entered the opposite lane. The vehicle continued into a stop sign before striking an unmarked police car, authorities said.

The Dodge Charger came to rest partially on a tree, police said.

Morales showed signs of intoxication, according to law enforcement. He was subsequently charged ad remanded to the Camden County Jail.
