Join us at Campbell’s Field on Thursday, June 14th for
Military Appreciation Night presented by Operation Homefront, Tri-State. The game will begin at 7:05 p.m. and will also mark the first time the Riversharks will face the Sugar Land Skeeters, the Atlantic League’s newest team from Sugar
Land, Texas.
All active duty and veteran military personnel will receive
free admission to the game to thank them for their service to our country, and friends and family can purchase a specially discounted $7 ticket.
As part of the tribute, there will be a pre-game recognition
for all members of the military. During the game will be a jersey auction where fans can bid on a game worn, patriotic jersey from their favorite player or coach. After the game, the winning bidder of each jersey will be invited onto the field where players will take off their jersey, sign it, and present it to the winner. All proceeds raised through the jersey auction will be donated back to Operation Homefront, Tri-State.

MISSION: Operation Homefront (OH) provides emergency
financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and
wounded warriors.
BACKGROUND: A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Operation Homefront was formed in February 2002. It was developed to support the families of deployed service members immediately following 9/11. Operation Homefront is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, and has evolved into a major nonprofit.
The organization currently provides services to military families across the nation with 23 chapters serving 27 states. The national office handles cases in states that do not have their own chapters. The majority of our clients are the lowest-paid service members, the E-1 through E-6 enlisted ranks.
