The Leon Jordan Quintet jazz band will play a free concert “under the stars” on the Blackwood Campus of Camden County College starting at 8 p.m. July 27.
The Leon Jordan Quintet is a father-son collaboration between drummer Leon Jordan Sr. and trumpeter Leon Jordan Jr. with additional musicians on piano, bass and saxophone. The group performs primarily original compositions, all of which are deeply rooted in the jazz tradition.
The concert is being presented by the college and the Camden County Department of Parks and Recreation. Attendees should bring a blanket or lawn chairs for seating.
