For those of you set on heading down the Shore this weekend, stop by Wildwood for its annual International Kite Festival. Starting Friday at noon, there will be an unlocking-of-the-ocean media event on the beach behind the Wildwoods Convention Center. Come back at night to watch an illuminated night kite flying show with music on the beach at Rio Grande Avenue.
Watch the East Coast Stunt Kite Championships on the beach Saturday and Sunday mornings. Saturday night, there will be a kite auction. End your long weekend watching the World Indoor Kite Competition inside the Wildwoods Convention Center on Monday.
