Family Loses Home, Dog In Christmas Day House Fire
A dryer fire quickly consumed the Gloucester Township home, leaving the family with an uncertain future.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Gloucester Township family that lost its home in a devastating Christmas Day fire is looking to get back on its feet.
The Nunnally Family has lived on the corner of Carr Lane in the Sicklerville section of the township for over 20 years, but their whole world fell apart after a dryer fire quickly consumed their home on Monday, Dec. 25, according to an online post. The people were able to escape safely, but they lost one of the family pets, a rottweiler named Samson.
They also lost their clothes, pictures, family heirlooms, unopened Christmas gifts and home, which was just a charred shell of what it once was. The family is currently staying in a hotel room, and may be living with a family soon.

A friend has launched a fundraiser to help the family as it faces an uncertain future. As of Thursday, the Christmas Day House Fire GoFundMe page has raised $250 toward its $5,000 goal.
“Right now they don’t really have a plan but are blessed to still have each other,” said Eric Roberts, who launched the campaign. “So I’m asking for any type of help for a family in need. Prayers, clothes, food, and any type of financial donations are greatly appreciated.”
