Field Hockey Playoff Brackets Released
Triton opens on the road on Wednesday, while Timber Creek hosts a game on Saturday.
The NJSIAA released the field hockey playoff brackets late last night, with Timber Creek and Triton earning a spot in the postseason.
Timber Creek (5-10-1) will get a home game as the No. 8 seed in Group III. The Chargers will host No. 9 Pinelands Saturday at 10 a.m.
Pinelands, which plays in the Shore Conference, is 6-9-1. The winner of this matchup will take on No. 1 Ocean City next Thursday.

Timber Creek travels to face Shawnee for a regular-season meeting Wednesday, hoping to snap a three-game losing streak.
Triton (6-7-1) is the No. 10 seed in Group IV and will travel to take on No. 7 Millville on Wednesday. The Thunderbolts of Millville are 9-5-1 playing out of the Cape-Atlantic League.

The winner will face No. 2 Shawnee, which earned a first-round bye.
