Final Vote On $475K Bond Ordinance In Gloucester Township Monday
Gloucester Township Council will meet at the municipal building at 7:30 p.m. Monday night.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township Council will hold a public hearing and final vote on a proposed $475,000 bond ordinance when it meets Monday night.
The proposed ordinance sets aside $475,805, including the borrowing of $453,147, to purchase capital equipment for the police department. There will also be a public hearing and final vote on amendments to the township’s towing ordinance.

Council will meet at the municipal building, 1261 Chews Landing Road, 7:30 p.m. The first item on the agenda is a resolution to go into closed session before the first public comment period.

Gloucester Township Police Chief David Harkins will read a memo requesting to hire Alyssa Morello as a Class I Special Officer after she completes medical and psychological testing. She is already certified and would join the SLEO recruits who are being trained for agency training at the beginning of October.
