Fishing Event for Special Needs Kids in Gloucester Township This Weekend
The Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs fishing frenzy is Saturday.

Gloucester Township, NJ -- Gloucester Township’s Special Parents and Kids Network (SPKN) in conjunction with A.S.A.C. for Kids Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs will host a fishing frenzy for children with special needs this weekend.
The day of fishing includes education, L.E.A.D. officers from the Gloucester Township Police department, classes on safety procedures, proper bait, knot tying and other activities.
A lunch consisting of a hot dog, chips and a juice will be provided for all participants and their parents.

Prizes and trophies will be awarded.
Participants are reminded to bring their fishing rod, sunscreen and chairs.

There will be heavy pedestrian traffic and police presence in the area of Hider Lane between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Drivers should expect minor delays.
