Free August Workshops through RCGC's People in Transition
The Center for People in Transition hosts a number of empowerment, financial and health workshops during the month of August.

The Center for People in Transition at Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC) hosts a number of empowerment, health and financial workshops during the month of August. Unless otherwise noted, all workshops are free and open to the public. Registration is mandatory. Call 856-415-2222 or email peopleintransition@rcgc.edu to register. You must be 18 years or older to attend.
“The Key Skills to Let Go of Guilt” --- Sharon Roth-Lichtenfeld, Certified Professional Life Coach, is hosting a workshop for those who would like to be free of unhealthy behaviors that contribute to unnecessary guilt. In this workshop, you will learn to develop the basic skills required to be emotionally free of guilt. This workshop is sponsored by the United Way of Gloucester County and will be held on Wednesday, August 15, from 7 – 9 p.m.
“Resume Writing” --- Join Nancy Howard, Director of the Center for People in Transition, to learn how to create an attention-grabbing resume. If you have a resume, please bring it with you. If you need a resume drafted, contact kwilso22@rcgc.edu or 856-415-2222 for a Personal Data form, which must be completed and received by August 20. Do not miss this opportunity to learn how to get your resume noticed and increase the chances of getting that interview. This workshop is sponsored by Heart of South Jersey and will be held on Thursday, August 23, from 6 – 8 p.m.

“Tips for a Successful Interview” --- Nancy Howard, Director of the Center for People in Transition, knows that securing an interview in today’s market is a major victory, but it is only half the battle. Learn what to do before, during and after the interview to land your dream job. This workshop is sponsored by Heart of South Jersey and will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018, from 6 – 8 p.m.
