Gloucester Cops Crack Down On Aggressive Driving As State Reopens

Gloucester Township police are cracking down on aggressive driving as the state reopens amid the coronavirus pandemic.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township police have noticed an increase in aggressive driving in the township as the state continues to reopen amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“The Gloucester Township Police Department takes the safety of our residents seriously, and we have ramped up enforcement of traffic laws related to aggressive driving,” police said in a statement. “As the governor relaxes restrictions across the state, we have noticed an increase in traffic and aggressive driving throughout the township.”

Traffic and patrol officers have been cracking down, conducting heavy traffic enforcement operations to save lives and reduce crashes, police said.

“Gloucester Township police strongly encourage all motorists and pedestrians to slow down, drive safely, and obey all traffic laws to ensure a safe summer,” police said.
