Gloucester Township To Consider Land Acquisition Monday Night

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township Council will consider the purchase of property currently owned by Gloucester Township EMS Alliance when it meets Monday night.

Gloucester Township Council will meet at the municipal building, 1261 Chews Landing Road, at 7:30 p.m. Monday night. The meeting will be held in-person only, with no remote participation.

The property at 236 Taylor Avenue is adjacent to property currently owned by the township, and the property was previously owned and serviced by the Glendora Rescue Squad, according to the proposed ordinance posted on the township’s website.

It has become available for purchase by the township, and the township has decided it would be in its best interest to buy the property for public purpose and to benefit Gloucester Township residents.
