Gloucester Township House Fire Displaces 2
The blaze remains under investigation but doesn't appear suspicious, officials said.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A multi-family house caught fire Friday night in Gloucester Township, displacing two residents.
No injuries were reported. Police said the fire doesn't appear suspicious, but officials continue to investigate the blaze.
A neighbor walking their dog called in the fire at about 9:45 p.m. on the 400 block of Main Street in the Glendora section of town. Arriving officers found smoke and flames coming from the home.

Fire departments from in and around Gloucester Township gained control of the blaze.
One resident was inside the home during the fire, according to township police. Two people were displaced because of fire and smoke damage.

Responding fire agencies included those from Glendora, Chews Landing, Blackwood, Bellmawr, Runnemede, Somerdale and Magnolia. Inspira BLS and Rehab 2 also assisted.
The fire marshals of Camden County and Glendora Fire Department Station 81 are investigating the incident.
The Gloucester Township Police Department said the following:
"This is a reminder to check your fire suppression systems to include alerts | audible alarm systems to ensure they are operational. Smoke alarms are a key part of any fire escape plan. When there is smoke, there is fire which can spread quickly. Working smoke alarms give you early warning, so you can get outside quickly."
