After the district was notified of the charges, it immediately fired Pasquarello. Police said the school district has fully cooperated in the investigation.

“We are deeply saddened and disappointed to learn of the allegations of misconduct that occurred with an aide who was employed at the Glen Landing Middle School,” Gloucester Township Superintendent of Schools John Bilodeau said. “The primary goal of our administration and staff is, first and foremost, to protect and support our students. Our policies require and expect all staff members to be professional, moral and ethical in all of their interactions with students, colleagues and members of our community. We will not tolerate any conduct that is inappropriate or unbecoming of a staff member. Upon notification of the off-site allegations, the district took immediate action and terminated the aide arrested (on Monday). We are cooperating completely with the Office of the Camden County Prosecutor and have been instructed by the County Prosecutor not to comment further at this time.”
