Gloucester Township National Night Out Kickoff Meeting Set for May 12
Residents interested in putting together a National Night Out event are invited to attend.

Gloucester Township Police will host its National Night Out Kickoff meeting at the Gloucester Township Senior Center at the Municipal Complex on May 12, 7 p.m.
Police Chief Harry Earle will discuss new policing strategies implemented throughout the year at the meeting.
Anyone in the community who wishes to host a National Night Out event in their neighborhood is invited to attend. Those attending will learn how to put together neighborhood National Night Out events.

National Night Out aims to show community support for police and to send a clear message to criminals that their actions will not be tolerated.
A neighborhood National Night Out can consist of just two neighbors meeting on their front lawns, an organized block party of several neighbors occurring on a closed street, or a full neighborhood event at a local community center.

This year’s National Night Out takes place Aug. 4.
