Gloucester Township Participates in Denim Day for Sexual Assault Awareness

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Gloucester Township participated in Denim Day on Wednesday. Denim Day was adopted by the State of New Jersey in 2010 as a way to raise awareness about sexual violence. It is held every April, which is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Denim Day is a call to action and a way for individuals, companies, organizations, and schools throughout southern New Jersey to join together to change the attitudes about sexual violence and increase awareness about the importance of sexual violence prevention.
