Gloucester Township Police Break Up Alleged Credit Card Fraud Rings, Recover Stolen Handgun
Eight people were arrested in three operations at the Premium Outlets and The Shoppes at Cross Keys.

Gloucester Township, NJ -- Gloucester Township Police arrested eight people in three separate operations last week, broke up two alleged multi-state credit card rings and recovered a stolen handgun.
Police were conducting plainclothes surveillance in the Gloucester Premium Outlets following multiple reports of theft on April 26 around 2 p.m. when they saw four men attempting to use multiple credit and gift cards to purchase high end merchandise, police said Tuesday night.
Several of the transactions were being denied, but the men kept presenting cards until one of them was authorized. When officers approached the men, one of them allegedly attempted to hide the credit and gift cards in the mulch landscaping.

A subsequent investigation allegedly revealed that the men were in possession of over $6,000 worth of merchandise that was fraudulently purchased in several different stores with fraudulent credit and gift cards.
Detectives allegedly seized multiple fraudulent credit and gift cards, a laptop Computer and an encrypted USB drive that was used to load stolen credit card account numbers onto the cards.

The following men were charged with theft by deception, receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit theft by deception:
1. Harold Luis Del Orbe, 28, of Bronx, NY;
2. Wadys Luis Del Orbe, 34, of Bronx, NY;
3. Socrates Ramirez, 32, of Bronx NY; and
4. Aneruy Morena, 31, of Bronx NY.
Each was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility in default of $20,000 bail.
Five days later, on May 1 around 2:56 p.m., police returned to the Premium Outlets. This time, police responded to the Watch Station for an alleged shoplifting involving three women, two of whom were outside the store when police arrived.
The women allegedly had about $2,500 in outlet merchandise and shoplifting tools in their car.
Anniya Ross, 34, of Philadelphia, and Sabrina Dillard, 42, of Philadelphia, were arrested and charged with shoplifting. They were released on a summons to appear in court.
The third women fled prior to police arrival. The investigation to identify her is ongoing.
An hour later, police were conducting retail theft operations in the area of The Shoppes at Cross Keys when officers noticed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot by the Texas Roadhouse.
As officers approached the car, they saw two women allegedly smoking marijuana. They were both taken from the car, and police allegedly found an additional, small amount of marijuana and handgun later found to be stolen from North Carolina loaded with hollow point bullets.
Demaris Jones, 34, of Atlantic City, and Jamesha McCormick, 28, of Pleasantville, were taken into custody and charged with possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
One of the women was also charged as a certain person not to possess a weapon as a result of two previous convictions.
