Gloucester Township Police Provide Storm Recovery Update
The township continues to recover from the storm that hit South Jersey on Tuesday.

The Gloucester Township Police Department offered the following update regarding the township’s recovery from Tuesday’s storm:
Traffic Safety Reminder: There are a few remaining intersections still without power. If you come to an intersection with a traffic signal malfunctioning, it becomes a stop intersection. Please use caution and obey all traffic laws.
The Gloucester Township pool will be open to all Gloucester Township residents, free of charge, through this weekend as follows:

· Friday from noon to 8 p.m.
· Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

The pool is located at the end of Roosevelt Avenue in Glen Oaks off of Chews Landing Road. The pool has a maximum capacity and you must show a valid identification as proof you are a GT resident. If pool is at maximum capacity, or you do not have a valid ID, you will be turned away. The pool will also be used as an electronic device charging station. Please bring your own power cords.
All Gloucester Township Recreation Department Camps and Activities are canceled and will resume Monday, June 29.
A cooling and charging station will be set up in our Court Room at the Municipal Building from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
If you are without electric and have spoiled foods to dispose of, there will be a drop off dumpster at the Gloucester Township Public Works building on Erial Road through the weekend. Please follow the signs to the designated dumpster.

The MUA and PW will be picking up brush and wood debris starting from Evesham Road and moving to the opposite end of town. Please place near as practical to the street curb without blocking the roadways or sidewalk.
