Gloucester Township Police Seek Class I Officer

The part-time position pays $13.37 an hour and hours will vary between day, night, weekends and holidays.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township Police are accepting applications for Special Law Enforcement (Part-time) Class I Officers. Hours will vary between day, night, weekends and holidays.

Under the direction of a supervisor, Special Officers will perform varied types of traffic and security details, and other related duties as required.

The position pays $13.37 an hour, and Gloucester Township residents are preferred.

Appointees must have a valid New Jersey driver’s license. There will be an extensive background investigation, a physical — including a drug test — and a psychological exam. Once hired, training will be provided.
