Items would include tasers, dispatch equipment and computer equipment. The down payment would be $22,658 and the life of the bond would be five years.
There will also be a public hearing and final vote on a proposed ordinance that would vacate Maple Avenue. The action would allow PSE&G to expand a substation currently in the area. PSE&G already owned property on one side of the street, and recently purchased property on the other side, according to officials. The street is a dead-end street, and the electric company will now own all the property in that area.
