Gloucester Twp. School Board Changes Location For Oct. 26 Meeting
The Board of Education's Oct. 26 meeting will be the first held after the district stops taking applications for a vacant seat on the board.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Gloucester Township K-8 Public School Board of Education meeting scheduled for Oct. 26 will now take place in the library/media center at the Ann A. Mullen Middle School, the district announced.
The meeting had been scheduled to take place at the Charles W. Lewis Middle School, but the location change was announced on Friday. It will be the second straight meeting held in person after the board met virtually for months amid the coronavirus pandemic.
It is the first meeting that is scheduled to take place after the district stops taking applications for the school board seat that was vacated when Carolyn Grace was appointed to township council. Read more here: Gloucester Township School Board Seat Vacant After Council Nomination

Anyone who is interested in applying for the open seat should send a letter providing information about themselves and summarizing their interest in the position to the district by 4 p.m. on Oct. 23, according to the listing posted on the district's website.

No agenda has yet been set for the Oct. 26 meeting. The board will follow the indoor capacity guidelines set forth by the state, which says gatherings can’t exceed 25 percent of the building’s capacity. Please see www.nj.gov for information.
The meeting will begin with an executive session at 6 p.m. The regular meeting will follow at 7 p.m.
