Gloucester Twp. Schools Collecting Feedback On Remote Learning
Gloucester Township's two school districts are asking for feedback from the community as it relates to their remote learning experiences.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township’s two school districts are asking for feedback from the community as it relates to their remote learning experiences due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“The last 3 months of the school year certainly challenged all involved and I want to commend every student, parent, guardian, and educator for being responsible, engaging, and persevering throughout this most unprecedented time period,” Gloucester Township K-8 Public School District Superintendent John Bilodeau said in a letter posted on the district website. “In an effort to assist with planning for the next school year the district has prepared a parent/guardian survey. I am respectfully requesting all parents and guardians take the time to complete the survey. Your feedback is valued and will certainly assist the district as we develop our plans for next year.”

On Friday, Gov. Phil Murphy issued a list of rules and guidelines for reopening schools this fall amid the coronavirus outbreak. Boards of education were given flexibility that "recognizes and respects" the differences between districts, he said.

This includes the option to rearrange schedules and implement a hybrid of in-person and remote learning.
