GTSD Will Honor Student Who Died After Being Found Unresponsive On School Bus
The 12-year-old student was found on a school bus and taken to the hospital, where the student later died.
GLOUCESTER TWP, NJ – The Gloucester Township School Board unanimously agreed at a meeting on Monday to honor a 12-year-old child who was found unresponsive on a school bus and later died.
During the meeting, Superintendent John D. Bilodeau said one of the parents’ groups in the district approached him about purchasing a plaque in honor of the child.
“They are going to [place] it around a new tree that was planted out from the school,” he said. “We have done this in the past with other students and staff we have tragically lost.”

The child’s family is “in favor of” the idea, according to Bilodeau. The cost should be around $300, he added.
