Gun Found On Street Prompts Investigation In Camden County
A school bus driver found it on the roadway, authorities said.
BERLIN, NJ — An investigation has been opened after a gun was found Wednesday morning on a Camden County roadway.
Berlin police responded to S Arlington Avenue just after 6:45 a.m. after a school bus driver discovered a rifle in the street. The agency initiated a "priority response" and secured the weapon.
Despite speculation on social media, the incident remains under investigation.

"The Berlin Police Department is aware that images as well as posts to social media are circulating in relation to this incident," the agency said, "and the involved weapon is not property of the Berlin Police Department or any Berlin Police Officer."
