Hooked on Fishing Not Drugs Tournament in Gloucester Township Saturday

Gloucester Township will hold its third annual “Hooked on Fishing Not on Drugs” kids fishing tournament on Saturday, April 25, at Dramesi Lake on Hider Lane. The tournament is for ages 5-15 years old.

Registration is from 8 a.m.-9 a.m., and classes are 9 a.m.-10 a.m. Classes include the LEAD program and safety procedures, and those who are fishing must attend.

Fishing time is 10 a.m.-noon, followed by an awards lunch from noon-2 p.m.

There will be free food, free bait and prizes.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. They should bring a fishing rod if they have one.

The tournament is sponsored by the Gloucester Township Mayor’s Office, DARE Officers, Fire and Rescue Squads, Senior Citizen’s Building Personnel, Parks and Rec. and ASAC volunteers.
