'Large Fight' At Highland High School Prompts Police Response
A 'large number of police officers' found 3 separate fights in the hallways, officials said.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A "large fight" broke out Friday at Highland Regional High School, prompting a heavy response from law enforcement.
Police responded to the school at about 11:45 a.m. to assist the school resource officer. "A large number of officers" found three separate fights in the hallways — just before the school's early dismissal for winter break — according to the Gloucester Township Police Department.
More than 100 students were in the area, police said. One student sustained minor injuries.

All students have been safely dismissed from the school, police said.
The GTPD Juvenile and Family Services Bureau is investigating the incident.
